Pearls: Violoncello Solo

This is an aural interpretation of the Violoncello solo in Pearls by Sade.

Since the original recording’s solo is a lot of wait-sixteen-bars-and-play-a-bar, I took the liberty to fill in the solo a bit more. All of the runs are original, but most of the sections with less movement are filled in by me. I encourage the soloist to take creative liberty and put their own spin onto the clearly filled-in sections, but to be mindful of the remaining rests, as they are purposeful (as heard in the original recording). This transcription is cohesive with my Voice & String Quartet arrangement of the piece, which can also be purchased below.
